Reims opened in April 2011 two new tram lines. The convoys are Citadis Alstom and have some peculiarities::
• Bright colors: blue, pink, red, purple, green, yellow, etc..
• The nose is in the shape of a glass of champagne.

The two kilometers through the downtown core are equipped with the ground level power supply system by Alstom, while in the periphery using conventional catenary. The tram will have its own site on 95% of its route and on the 5% shared with automobiles, it will always have right of way.
